The melon is in full swing in the summer and it is an opportunity to enjoy its benefits. Low in calories, it is also very refreshing. Here is an original smoothie recipe to cool off.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small melon from our regions
  • 200 g strawberries
  • 2 pears
  • 1 C. tablespoon caster sugar (optional)
  • 1 lime

Preparation:

Raise lime zest.

Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut the melon into slices and remove the skin. Cut the slices of melon into pieces. Reserve a slice to make melon balls that will serve as decoration.

Wash, drain and plant the strawberries.

Wash, peel and cut the pears into pieces (remember to remove the pips).

Put the fruits in a blender. Add the powdered sugar (optional) and mix. When the mixture is fluid and sparkling, decorate with melon balls and serve.
